All over the developing world, there is a shortage of funding within rural communities to supply basic services such as clean water for drinking and hygiene, lighting and power. To empower themselves to solve their problems, communities could invest in our system, and organize themselves so that their community raises funds by running the process side and simultaneously provide themselves the benefits that clean hot water and safe drinking water can bring. To rely on governments entirely has proved to be an idea with a weak future, at best. However, it is better to get the government to participate through a cost-sharing arrangement to kick start such a project. The power of such a simple idea should not be underestimated.

Other applications and users

The diversity of uses and users is limited largely by the imagination and the perseverance of the prospective investors. Even within the scope of the applications and users outlined, a small uptake can produce a tremendous lift in incomes and living standards in the areas a project using our system is undertaken. Caveat: every enterprise carries risks. A good system is no substitute for poor planning, management, and improper resource allocation and balance.
